On March 24th, 2024, New Birth Missionary Baptist Church proudly hosted Women Mission Day, featuring the esteemed guest speaker Correne Glaude from New Light District Church. Centered around the empowering biblical theme "Wear your armor," drawn from Ephesians 6:10-18, the event brought together women from various walks of life to explore the strength and resilience provided by faith. Correne Glaude's insightful and uplifting messages deeply resonated with the attendees, fostering a sense of unity and spiritual fortitude among the women gathered. 

On February 14, 2024, New Birth warmly welcomed both singles and couples to celebrate love and fellowship at their Valentine's Day Gala. Set against a backdrop of heartfelt camaraderie, the event featured an array of delicious food and refreshing drinks, complementing an evening filled with modest dancing. The gala provided a wonderful opportunity for attendees to connect and share in the joy of the occasion, fostering a sense of community and belonging. It was a night where the spirit of love transcended relationship statuses, and the bonds of fellowship were strengthened within the church family.

On February 18th, 2024, Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church celebrated a significant milestone with the 1-year church anniversary of Pastor Kurt and First Lady Marva Bouie. The event was graced by the presence of guest speaker Reverend Cedric High from our own New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, who shared insightful reflections centered on the biblical theme "A Godly man approved by God," taken from 2 Corinthians 10:18. This special occasion was not only a celebration of the Bouies' leadership and dedication over the past year but also an affirmation of their commitment to embodying the virtues and guidance of a life approved by God.

On October 22nd, 2023, New Birth Missionary Baptist Church hosted Pink Sunday Service. The congregation came together, each donning shades of pink, to stand in solidarity and raise awareness for breast cancer. This special service was a heartfelt blend of spiritual upliftment and community support, highlighting the importance of awareness, early detection, and the strength found in faith and togetherness. Through hymns, prayers, and messages of hope, the Pink Sunday Service not only honored those affected by breast cancer but also strengthened the bonds of the church community, making it a memorable day of worship and awareness.
